EXETER, New Hampshire — Judge Judy, the sharp-tongued reality TV show host, campaigned on behalf of former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley two days before the crucial New Hampshire primary.
Judith Sheindlin, as Judge Judy is legally known, encouraged the crowd of Haley supporters to vote on Tuesday as the former South Carolina battles former President Donald Trump.
“We’re at a crossroads. And for me, finding the person that we can be proud of not only domestically but on the national stage in 2024 is probably the most important decision that all of us are going to have to make,” Sheindlin said. “In our current history, Nikki Haley has to be that candidate.”
The crowd began to chant “Nikki! Nikki!” in response.

“I’m not here to necessarily bash the competition, although I’m perfectly capable of doing that,” Sheindlin joked about Trump.
As the crowd laughed, one attendee shouted, “Send Trump to prison!”
The former president is hoping that he will crush Haley on Tuesday and establish himself as the inevitable GOP standard-bearer. He currently leads Haley 52.5% to 37.5%, according to a RealClearPolitics New Hampshire poll average.
But Haley’s team is hoping that Gov. Chris Sununu’s (R-NH) support, along with allies such as Sheindlin, moderates, disaffected conservatives, and independent voters, will help her thwart Trump in the Granite State.

“We’ve already seen what these two presidencies look like,” Sheindlin said of Trump and President Joe Biden. “It’s time for Nikki Haley. This is her moment. She’s a star.”
“This woman is the real deal,” she added to clapping from the crowd. “So please, New Hampshire, use your brains and your heart. Bring her home on Tuesday.”
Haley showed her enthusiasm for the positive words when she walked out onstage. “How cool is it to have Judge Judy endorse you?”
