Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is set to drop out of the Republican race for president Wednesday morning.
Haley picked up one victory on Super Tuesday, becoming the first woman to win a state’s Republican primary when she beat former President Donald Trump in Vermont 49.9% to 45.9% — winning by fewer than 3,000 votes.
Trump dominated the rest of the evening, winning the other 14 contests and finishing the night with 848 new delegates to Haley’s 17.

A source familiar with Haley’s decision-making confirmed to the Washington Examiner that Haley will drop out of the contest and isn’t planning to endorse Trump. She will call on Trump to earn the support of Republicans himself and won’t stand with him.
