Stormy Daniels, the star witness involved in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s criminal trial against former President Donald Trump, compared the president’s upcoming sentencing to that of how parents punish children.

“I don’t think Trump understands anything. Like anything. Like, it just, he doesn’t — he’s lost, complete and out of touch with reality,” she said in her first interview since the president’s conviction.

“Funny, it’s actually like when you have a child, and sometimes taking the electronics away works,” she said. “But if your child is very artistic, they don’t care. They’ll just go color their coloring books. And then you have another child that, you know, they don’t want to go outside — you got to ground them or take away electronics or don’t let them have dessert.”

She added, “You have to find the punishment that not just matches the crime but is fair and just and that impacts that particular person.”

Daniels paused, considering what would be a tough “punishment” for Trump.

“I don’t know. … No golfing!” she exclaimed her punishment suggestion for the former president.

Daniels testified in the six-week trial and shared tawdry details about her alleged 2006 sexual encounter with the former president that he denies happened.

Trump was convicted last week on 34 counts of allegedly falsifying business records. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 11, which is four days before the start of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where he is set to become the GOP presidential nominee.

“The United States Supreme Court MUST DECIDE!” Trump said in a post on his social media platform Truth Social on Monday, urging the high court to intervene in his case.

Some legal observers have speculated that Trump could go to jail for anywhere from “six months” to a year.

The former adult film star added in her interview that she believes former first lady Melania Trump should leave her husband but not because of his alleged affair.

“I don’t know what their agreement may or may not be, but Melania needs to leave him, not because of what he did with me or other women but because he is a convicted felon,” Daniels said.
