During Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, Trump teased that he would be announcing several administration actions to support American farmers, saying, “I love the farmers.” He also touted the $12 million repayments that the Department of Agriculture gave farmers as a result of tariff revenue.
“They deserve it. They’ve been great. They never complain. They just go out and they farm and they wouldn’t do anything different. They wouldn’t trade jobs with any of you,” Trump said.
