Gabbard is preparing Trump for his Sept. 10 ABC News debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, a candidate Gabbard famously faced off against during a primary debate for the 2020 election.

The former congresswoman endorsed Trump, as did former Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who had been running as an independent in the presidential election before dropping out. Since leaving her House office, Gabbard switched from a Democrat to an independent.
