Billionaire business magnate Elon Musk declared that those who receive their information from the legacy media are living in a “fake alternate reality.”
“People who get their news from legacy TV live in a fake alternate reality,” Musk posted to X on Thursday.
Accompanying the post was a video of ABC’s coverage of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump’s dueling border visits.
“The president is expected to meet with border patrol and local law enforcement and, once again, blame Donald Trump for tanking that bipartisan border deal that would have included some of the toughest reforms in decades,” the ABC reporter said in the clip posted by Musk.
“That legislation would have imposed stricter asylum restrictions, included daily limits on border crossings, and billions of dollars in new funding for security, but Donald Trump pressured Republicans to kill that bill to deny President Biden a political win.”
The ABC reporter then went on to tell viewers that former President Trump intends to run on the border crisis under the current administration and promise “mass deportations.”
The Biden-Harris campaign was quick to jump on ABC’s coverage of the issue, and an affiliated account shared it on X.
Musk did not appear to share the same sentiment as the Biden-Harris campaign.

“Those so-called ‘toughest reforms; would have made invasion-level migration permanent,” according to Musk.
“That diabolical ‘Border Bill’ deserved to die and shame on those who supported it.”
