Elon Musk’s pro-Trump super PAC launched a new website to increase its number of canvassers in swing states greatly.

America PAC has been the primary vehicle of Musk’s support for Trump since the tech CEO endorsed him in the moments following the July 13 assassination attempt. The new website declares that the 2024 election “defines our future.”

“America PAC is committed to enhancing voter turnout and supporting candidates who champion individual freedom, merit-based systems, and the preservation of America’s foundational values,” the website states. “We aim to counteract progressive policies by promoting informed voter participation and advocating for a free-market environment where success is determined by merit.”

The website lists the group’s priorities as promoting “free speech, free markets, and a merit-based society.”

The super PAC has spent tens of millions on the 2024 race, mostly on the presidential race but also on key House races.

America PAC has spent almost $33 million since the middle of last month, aiding Trump with door-knocking, digital advertising, and mailers to voters in battleground states, according to a Washington Post report. It has also spent hundreds of thousands on ads on X.

Republicans have voiced concern about the operation, the newspaper reported, with Republicans in swing states reporting scant signs of canvassers intended to push less enthusiastic voters to get out the vote.

The Trump campaign has become reliant on outsourcing to other groups for canvassing, including Turning Point USA and America PAC. The gamble would allow the campaign to spend all its money on ads and rallies, while super PACs and other groups would cover the expensive costs of canvassing.

America PAC fired the company responsible for canvassing last week, citing nonperformance.

After numerous Democratic donors withheld their money from President Joe Biden, a deluge of cash was unleashed after he dropped out in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris. After months of Republicans winning in fundraising, Harris outraised Trump by four times in August.
