Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden, said he would fight the two elder sons of President Donald Trump in a “cage match,” a type of wrestling match popularized by WWE.
Biden challenged Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump to the match in a social media post, saying the left-leaning independent journalist and YouTuber Andrew Callaghan, 28, asked him whether he would be willing to participate as part of Callaghan’s “Channel 5 Carnival” tour.
“He’s trying to organize a cage match: me versus Eric and Don Jr. I told him I’d do it, 100% in, if you can pull it off. And if you can’t, I’m still coming,” Biden said.
Callaghan’s tour began in early April and has six more scheduled stops throughout the month, including in Phoenix, San Diego, and Albuquerque. If the fight did occur, it would, indeed, be the first public event in which the sons of two presidents went fisticuffs.
Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have not publicly responded to Biden’s challenge.
At the end of his father’s presidency, Hunter Biden received a sweeping pardon from his father after he was found guilty on all three felony charges related to a 2018 gun purchase he made amid his drug and alcohol addiction.

After the former president granted his son the pardon, Hunter Biden was disbarred in Connecticut and has experienced significant financial problems. In March 2025, a court filing showed Hunter Biden said he had acquired “significant debt in the millions of dollars range.”
The hypothetical fight, if Trump’s sons agree, would likely draw large crowds ahead of America’s 250th anniversary. The event could be a cash cow but also introduce significant security complications for the Secret Service.
