Actor Tom Hanks is getting backlash for reprising the racist role of “Doug,” a White Trump supporter who wears a red MAGA hat, during Saturday Night Live‘s 50th anniversary special.

“Fun fact: Trump’s 2024 election win was the LEAST racially divisive American election since 1964,” radio host Clay Travis responded.

“Donald Trump just won a landslide election and has never been more popular with Americans. They have learned nothing,” another commentator said on X.
