The president, 78, took a trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for his annual physical, telling followers on Truth Social he has “never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!”
“A presidential physical is not your typical physical exam,” CBS News medical contributor Dr. Celine Gounder said. “I think it makes more sense to think about this as a curated medical PR event, really intended to reassure the public that the president is able to perform his duties.”
