Independent 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. praised former MTV star Jenny McCarthy and former New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg for their endorsement of his campaign on Monday.

“Thank you for this dazzling endorsement, you two,” Kennedy said in a social media post with a video of McCarthy and Wahlberg sharing their endorsement.

The social media video shows the two Hollywood stars standing in front of a “Kennedy 24” campaign background.

“I’m Jenny McCarthy,” she said.

“I’m Donnie Wahlberg,” McCarthy’s husband said.

“And I’m endorsing Bobby for president,” McCarthy said.

“Our dear friend Bobby for president. Go Bobby,” Wahlberg added.

“Go Bobby!” McCarthy cheered.

The couple has been married since 2014. Like Kennedy, McCarthy has been an environmental activist and a vocal critic of vaccines. McCarthy’s vaccine activism gained attention when she claimed in 2008 that there could be a link between vaccines and autism. She has challenged the label of being “anti-vaccine” and has stated that parents should consider a “pro-safe-vaccine schedule” for children.

Supporters of Kennedy chimed in on the endorsement.

“Jenny McCarthy was one of the first people I heard that spoke out about vaccines and how much control big pharma had. Seems fitting for her to endorse RFK Jr,” one woman said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Hanging tough, Bobby,” a Kennedy supporter quipped, referencing a New Kids on the Block song from Wahlberg’s youth.
