President Joe Biden took a stab at his Republican rival, former President Donald Trump, Friday during a fundraiser in California, twisting a line he’s started using of late to attack the likely 2024 GOP presidential nominee.

The president traveled to the Bay Area Thursday night for a pair of events with Democratic donors and is slated to travel to Seattle, Washington, to raise more cash later this weekend.

Biden has ramped up his attacks on Trump this spring, including repeatedly mocking him for suggesting people inject bleach to fight off COVID-19 back in 2020.

“Remember him saying the best thing to do is to inject a little bleach into your arm,” the president stated Friday. “I wish he had done it a little bit himself.”

Roughly two weeks prior, the president joked during a speech to the North American Building Trades Union that Trump must have tried injecting bleach himself.

“It all went to his hair,” Biden proclaimed at the time, earning cheers and groans from the crowd. “I probably shouldn’t have said that. You guys are a bad influence on me.”

On Friday, the president also took aim at Trump’s repeated praising of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his reported plan to solicit $1 billion in campaign donations from oil executives.
