Former President Donald Trump claimed that “there’s no way” popular musical artist Taylor Swift will endorse President Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 election.
Trump supported his claim by stating that he was “responsible” for the Music Modernization Act when he was president, which updated copyright law for the era of streaming, which the former president argued helped Swift and other musicians.
“There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money,” Trump’s post read.
Trump also added that he likes Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. He joked he likes the iconic Chiefs player even though “he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”
The former president’s prediction of Swift not endorsing Biden in 2024 comes despite the famous musician endorsing Biden ahead of the 2020 presidential election. Swift has also noted that she would have endorsed then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016 had she spoken out then.

The notion that Swift could make a political endorsement soon is gaining popularity, with the hosts of The View talk show joking that Republicans ought to be “a little bit afraid.”
Last year, Swift issued a call to her Instagram followers, of which she currently has 280 million, to get registered to vote. Her post led to 35,252 people registering on the website Vote.org, in addition to over 150,000 visiting the site.
