Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made fun of former President Donald Trump’s financial situation after he was fined $355 million in a business fraud case in New York last week.
Pelosi said Trump was a person lacking “values” and “dollars” while criticizing his delayed response to the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, which Trump tried to compare to domestic problems.
“Speaking out the way he did about Navalny shows you that he is a person without values. He looks like he’s going to be a person without dollars, either, but the values are what concerns us,” Pelosi said on MSNBC’s Inside With Jen Psaki on Monday.
The California Democrat also vowed that Trump should never be allowed back in the White House and claimed he brought “disgrace” to the executive mansion during his four years as president from 2017 until 2021.
Trump’s first statement on Navalny’s death came Monday morning, where he said the Russian opposition leader’s death made him “more aware” of the “path to destruction” he claims the United States is on.
“The sudden death of Alexei Navalny has made me more and more aware of what is happening in our Country. It is a slow, steady progression, with CROOKED, Radical Left Politicians, Prosecutors, and Judges leading us down a path to destruction. Open Borders, Rigged Elections, and Grossly Unfair Courtroom Decisions are DESTROYING AMERICA. WE ARE A NATION IN DECLINE, A FAILING NATION! MAGA2024,” Trump posted on Monday.
Pelosi slammed his comments as being “beneath the dignity of a human being,” arguing the statement should be disqualifying for the presidential election in November.

“You think no, somebody must have made this up; not even Donald Trump could go this far. As I’ve said, he’s in a limbo competition with himself. How far can he go? Well, now he’s gone below sea level, below the ground level,” Pelosi said.
“And this statement should disqualify him from running for anything, much less president of the United States,” Pelosi added.
