Israeli soldiers discovered dead babies after the Palestinian Hamas invasion of the nation that began Saturday, i24news correspondent Nicole Zedeck recounted.

“I’m talking to some of the soldiers and they say what they’ve witnessed as they’ve been walking through these different houses, these different communities,” Zedeck reported in the town of Kfar Aza, Israel, which is located near the border of the Gaza Strip. Kfar Aza is a small town located in southern Israel between Netivot and Sderot.

“Babies, their heads cut off. That’s what they said,” she recalled. “Gunned down families — completely gunned down in their beds.”

CNN reported the gruesome nature of the mutilated bodies found (via Mediaite):

CNN correspondent Nic Robertson went into horrifying detail as he described the carnage Hamas militants left behind at the Kibbutz Kfar Aza in Israel.

Israeli forces were able to liberate the town after two days of fighting Hamas gunmen, but in a video Robertson posted to CNN’s Instagram account, he explained there were “bodies everywhere,” some of which were decapitated.

“There were so many murdered members of this Kibbutz,” he said. “Men, women, children, hands bound, shot, executed, heads cut.”

He later showed Israeli Major General Itai Veruv on air, who said:

What I saw, hundreds of terrorists in full armor, full gear, with all the equipment and all the ability make a massacre. Go from apartment to apartment, from room to room and kill babies, mothers, fathers in their bedrooms… They locked themselves in the protection rooms of their houses and people were out with their children and they killed them. They killed babies in front of their parents, and then killed the parents. They killed parents and we found babies between the dogs and the family killed before him. They cut heads of the people.

Veruv confirmed the report of murdered babies to the Jerusalem Post. “You see the babies, the mothers, the fathers, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms, and how the terrorist kills them. It’s not a war, it’s not a battlefield. It’s a massacre, it’s a terror activity,” he said.

“It is something that I never saw in my life. It’s something that we used to imagine from our grandfathers, grandmothers in the pogrom in Europe and other places. It’s not something that happens in new history,” he added.

However, there were also reports that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) did not confirm that babies were specifically beheaded.

Correspondent Zedeck echoed Veruv’s description of the dreadful plight. “This is nothing that anyone could have even imagined when you’re walking through here,” she said. “Baby cribs thrown to the side.”

Zedeck described the soldiers as comforting each other, many of whom she said were reservists who left their families behind to reclaim territory in Israel that Hamas held.

“Many of them reserves who jumped into action, leaving their own families behind as well, not knowing the sheer horror that they were about to come to. They say they’ve never experienced anything like this,” she said. “Some Israeli bodies are still here because the fighting in this community just ended.”

“Many of these troops are still going house to house, door to door,” she reported. “It’s taking them sometimes 30 minutes, 40 minutes because many of these houses also still have grenades in them, booby traps.”

“In fact, as we’re trying to get closer to some of these scenes, we’re being told, ‘No, no, get back,’ from some of these Israeli military because there are still grenades in the area,” Zedeck said.

Since Saturday, Hamas killed over 1,100 Israelis, per AP. Legal scholar Eugene Kontorovich called it the “worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.”

In the United States, President Joe Biden scheduled a speech on the terrorist attack on Tuesday — his first personal statement since Saturday. Joe Biden’s schedule detailed no public appearances on Monday after news surfaced that Hamas terrorists killed nine Americans in Israel over the weekend. According to media reports, the Biden administration is scrambling to ascertain how many Americans the Hamas terrorists killed and possibly took hostage.

Joe Biden also spent Sunday evening partying with the first lady and White House staff, a press pool report stated Sunday evening around 6:00 p.m. The party was complete with a live band, likely paid for by the American taxpayer.Former President Donald Trump stated Monday in New Hampshire that the Biden administration’s agreement to transfer $6 billion in Iranian funds the United States had frozen in South Korea is in part responsible for the terror attack on Israel over the weekend.

“This war happened for three reasons: the allowing by the Biden administration of Iran to sell massive amounts of oil and making $60 billion dollars; the United States giving Iran $6 billion dollars ransom; and our country’s perceived weakness with an incompetent and corrupt leader, Joe Biden, who’s laughed at all over the world,” he said.

Meanwhile, Iran is threatening even more terror against Israel.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Khamenei predicted that Israeli military operations would backfire. “The calculation of the illegitimate regime and its supporters in this regard is also wrong,” he said. “The rulers and decision-makers of the Zionist regime and their supporters should know that these actions will bring a greater disaster upon them, and the Palestinian people, with a firmer determination, will slap their hideous faces harder in response to these crimes.”
