Vice President Kamala Harris stepped in it with both feet after the Supreme Court released its ruling on abortion.

“I know there are women out there who are afraid. To those of you who feel alone and scared: I want you to know the President and I are fighting for you and your rights. We are in this fight together,” the veep posted on her official account on Twitter.

In the post, Harris is shown, hand on chin, watching CNN’s coverage of anti-abortion protests while flying on Air Force 2.

The tweet set off liberals who weren’t happy with Harris.

“Could you be specific? Like, *how* are you fighting? Describe the tactics, explain the policy, give us the rundown,” New York Magazine contributor Hillary Kelly wrote.

Another person on Twitter echoed that sentiment, saying: “Can you be more specific? Because your voters all deserve more specificity today. We need that more than we need visual & verbal depictions of your sympathy.”

“The Administration has known this was coming since the GOP stole another SCOTUS seat with Amy Coney Barrett,” the person also wrote. “POTUS had explicit notice of this decision 2 months ago. As a Biden voter, I want to know, besides sympathy, what exactly the Admin put in place in preparation for today?”

“What work?” another wrote. “I’m genuinely asking, what have they done so far in this administration? And before anyone comes jumping me, I voted for them because it wasn’t Trump. That doesn’t mean that they’re free from criticism when they’re not living up to their promises.”

One Twitterer noted that Harris was literally above it all.

“Um. 36,000 feet above everything, watching on a big a** TV in a private plane, and the message is ‘we’re in this together’? I’m not sure you guys get where the rest of us are at right now,” Daily Kos writer Joan McCarter posted.

“Not VP Kamala Harris watching the erosion of #RoeVsWade from her plane, at a distance. Whoever thought this was good photo-op needs to be fired immediately. This is literally the embodiment of thoughts and prayers,” writer Anna Gifty tweeted.

Sports writer Trent Reinsmith got in a good dig, writing: “So, more or less, ‘thoughts and prayers…’”

Ernest Owens, editor-at-large for Philadelphia magazine, tweeted to Harris, “Change his mind on this [changing the filibuster to protect abortion rights] and I’ll believe you.”
