President-elect Donald Trump appeared before supporters with his hair styled a new way, prompting online commentary on the look.
Trump was seemingly fresh off the golf course as he approached a crowd while wearing a Trump-Vance polo shirt and had his hair slicked back. He was at his International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida at the time.
“Everybody having a good time?” Trump asked the crowd to applause. “Is everybody a Republican?”
Trump kept his hair in the same style while he received the Founding Father Award from Moms For America. He won the award last year as well.
Users compared the new look to the late musician Elvis Presley, comedian Theo Von, David Spade’s movie character Joe Dirt, and Home Alone character Buzz McCallister.
“Trump should rock this hairstyle of his more,” another user wrote.
Others speculated the hairstyle was not permanent and instead was a circumstance of Trump’s hat affecting his hair.
“People are saying Trump has a new hairstyle. I think it’s just hat hair,” talk show host Bill Mitchell wrote.
“We now know what Trump’s hair looks like after he takes off his hat after wearing it,” podcaster Ian Miles Cheong wrote.
This comes as Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, commented on his fashion sense in a video on her YouTube channel Tuesday. She was asked if she’d ever seen her grandpa dressed casually since Trump is often in a suit.

“I did see him in a T-shirt, he owns a white T-shirt,” Kai said.
