If you’ve been paying attention over the past week or so, you’ve noticed that a lot of media outlets — particularly those critical of the administration as a rule — are having a fit over Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s new expectations for journalistic outlets covering the Pentagon.
What they don’t tell you is that these rules are 100 percent common sense — and the fact that reporters don’t want to follow them should give you great pause in terms of what their priorities really are and whether they should be covering the Department of War in the first place.
