Melania Trump’s new box office smash documentary film, “Melania,” takes audiences on a journey similar to that in Jacqueline Kennedy’s highly rated television White House tour in 1962.

Kennedy, whose fashion sense, like Trump’s, tended toward the European and particularly French, oversaw a renovation of the White House starting during her husband’s first year in office.

CBS then shot a one-hour documentary called “A Tour of the White House,” featuring the first lady, dressed in her elegant best, to showcase the progress made.
