The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said her “friends” want to “hear more” about Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election and feel the “Kamalamentum” is a reality.

“I think this Vice President Kamalamentum is really real,” Farah Griffin said on the ABC show Monday.

“All weekend, anywhere I went with different groups of friends, they all want to hear more about her,” she added. “I have friends who are calling into these phone calls that she’s doing, that aren’t registered Democrats. Some of them are Republicans, and they are actually curious.”

Farah Griffin shared her experience of going on one of the organized phone calls in support of Harris.

“I got on one of them, and they didn’t cut me off. They let me be on the line, and it was talking about character, what our daughters are going to see, and what people want to see in their president,” she said. “This is going to be tight.”

The co-host said the “energy shifted” when President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race and endorsed Harris.

Farah Griffin then gave her advice for the Harris campaign not to own her publicly stated opinions while Biden’s vice president.

“What I would hope the vice president vice president’s team would keep doing is: It’s OK to admit if something you stated in the past is not your position now because, for four years, she’s been the vice president for all Americans,” she said.

Farah Griffin said Harris should “walk back” her views on “defunding the police.”

She also advised Harris to backtrack on her record on the border as vice president because now she’s running a different campaign as a person vying for the future presidency.

Co-host Ana Navarro said Harris has been “underestimated” because “when she was the No. 2, she acted like the No. 2.”
