President-elect Donald Trump capped off 2024 with a video looking back on his political path, hyping up what his next term will bring once he assumes office on Jan. 20, 2025.
The video, released by Trump on Tuesday, starts with newscasters announcing Trump’s victory in the 2016 election, as well as an excerpt from his inauguration speech promising to “never, ever let you down” as president. Shortly after, clips of Trump’s trials post-presidency are showcased, including the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago as well as the numerous indictments he received in 2023.

“The more that a broken system tells you that you’re wrong, the more certain you should be that you must keep pushing ahead,” Trump says in the video, an excerpt from a commencement speech he gave at Liberty University in 2017.
Trump also states how the United States will “always rise to every challenge” it faces and promises to “totally obliterate the deep state” in his next term.
“As long as we have pride in our beliefs, courage in our convictions, and faith in our God, then we will not fail,” says Trump.
Noticeably, the first assassination attempt against Trump, which occurred on July 13, is not featured in the video despite being one of the biggest stories of the year.
