Controversial Missouri secretary of state candidate Valentina Gomez filmed a campaign ad on the U.S. House speaker’s balcony in violation of House rules.

Gomez has gained national attention through her brash campaign ads, in several of which she described Democrats and the Biden administration as “weak and gay.” On Tuesday, she released a campaign ad from the House speaker’s balcony, which is forbidden by House rules.

“I am at the speaker’s balcony, and they don’t like me here, and neither in Jefferson City. But I don’t give a f***,” she said in the video. “I speak the truth, catch pedophiles, and I will be Missouri’s 41st secretary of state.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) press secretary, Athina Lawson, told the Washington Examiner that Johnson was unaware of the video and had no involvement with it.

“The Speaker’s balcony is open for the public to enjoy. The Speaker’s Office was not aware of the video until it was posted online,” Lawson said.

In a statement to the Washington Examiner, Gomez dismissed concerns over the video.

“For all of those crying about a 15 second video. Be upset about the 20 million illegals the Biden-Harris Administration allowed into the United States that are raping and killing American women, or the billions sent to Ukraine’s useless war where brave men and women in uniform are being killed, or the J6’rs that are being persecuted and prosecuted, or the grandmas jailed for praying outside of an abortion clinic,” she said. “Stop with the hypocrisy. I stand with President Trump and Senator J.D Vance.”

A record number of illegal immigrants have entered the U.S. during the Biden administration, but the number is closer to 10, not 20.

Gomez, an immigrant from Colombia, describes herself on her website as a “real estate investor, financier, strategist, former NCAA Division I swimmer.”
