Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will co-host a panel Wednesday on Capitol Hill alongside a left-wing watchdog group staffed by anti-Israel activists who participated or cheered on recent antisemitic protests, according to a flyer.
Warren is set to appear Wednesday afternoon for an event called “The Role of Private Equity in Health Care” in the Senate Visitors Center, where the Massachusetts Democrat will discuss her June legislation “to root out corporate greed and private equity abuse in the healthcare system,” a press release said. The event is being co-sponsored by the Private Equity Stakeholder Project, which is funded by liberal dark money groups and staffed by individuals who have promoted calls for the annihilation of Israel, records show.
The Private Equity Stakeholder Project is a longtime ally of Warren’s. Last month, Warren cited testimony from the watchdog group when unveiling her June bill on private equity, which was backed by the PESP, according to a press release. The PESP has raked in donations in recent years from the philanthropy of Hungarian businessman George Soros, the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, and other left-wing grantmakers, tax records show.
One senior employee at the PESP, K Agbebiyi, touted in an April blog post how she is “striving to be a disciplined Communist.” In November of last year, Agbebiyi posted an image on social media of her at an anti-Israel protest clutching a sign that read, “Dykes for Palestine.”
Agbebiyi, moreover, posted a picture on Instagram of a mural depicting a terrorist that read, “Liberation looks like terrorism in the eyes of the oppressor.”
Abhilasha Bhola, PESP senior research coordinator, notably liked a post on social media on the day of the Hamas-led attack last year, including the slogan “from the river to the sea,” which is a call for the annihilation of Israel, Fox Business reported. Azani Creekes, another PESP staffer, was reportedly in attendance at an anti-Israel protest in January and faced disorderly conduct charges.
Eileen O’Grady, the PESP’s director of programs, is listed on a flyer for the Wednesday event as a speaker. O’Grady has long been a drummer for the Washington, D.C., band Bacchae. The band has reposted images and statements on social media in support of anti-Israel protests, including promotional materials for a protest co-led by the Palestinian Youth Movement.
Warren’s willingness to participate in the event comes as the senator accuses Israel of committing genocide in Hamas-run Gaza for retaliating against the terrorist group after its Oct. 7 attack on the Jewish state last year. In December of last year, Warren cited unreliable fatality statistics released by Hamas to argue in a floor speech that Israel committed a “moral failure” and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “set the conditions for endless violence.”
The Wednesday event is also being hosted by the Center for Economic Policy and Research, a think tank that has supported a “Green New Deal” and is also a close Warren ally.
“We really should get people to stop referring to Israel as the ‘Jewish state,’ thereby implicating all Jews in its actions,” the think tank’s co-founder, Dean Baker, said in June. “More correctly, it should be referred to as a ‘state controlled by Jews.’”
“We Are Now Importing Fascism From Israel,” Baker also said in May.

Earlier this year, he expressed support for the terrorism-linked Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel, according to a Washington Examiner review of his social media history.
Warren’s office did not return a request for comment.
