HOW MARKWAYNE MULLIN WOULD LEAD DHS DIFFERENTLY THAN KRISTI NOEM

Mullin was chosen by President Donald Trump to succeed former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Mullin’s hearing this week was less heated than Noem’s, but still included hostile exchanges, including with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).

DHS is one of the most heavily scrutinized agencies over its centrality in Trump’s aggressive immigration crackdown.
