The Justice Department announced on Thursday that it has charged a Texas man with threatening an FBI agent who was involved with the investigation into Hunter Biden and his laptop.
Timothy Muller, 43, was charged in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas with interstate threatening communications and influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official and was arrested at his home on Thursday, according to court filings.
The first son was found guilty of three charges related to a 2018 gun purchase in federal court in Delaware on Tuesday. The charging document alleges that Muller called the unnamed FBI Baltimore supervisory special agent shortly after the decision. The agent picked up but quickly hung up, with Muller only being able to say “Hey.”
Muller attempted to call the agent a second time, but he did not answer and Muller reportedly left a lengthy voicemail threatening the agent.
“You little c********* p****! You can run but you can’t f***ing hide,” Muller said, according to the court filing.
“So here’s how it’s gonna go: [Former President Donald Trump’s] gonna win the reelection, and then we’re gonna f***ing go through the FBI and just start throwing you c********* into jail,” he allegedly said. “Or, you can steal another election, and then the guns will come out and we’ll hunt you c********* down and slaughter you like the traitorous dogs you are in your own f***ing homes in your f***ing beds. The last thing you’ll ever hear are the horrified shrieks of your widow and orphans.”
Muller allegedly followed up the expletive-filled threats over voicemail with three text messages that also threatened the agent.
“Did you call your little buddies in DC?” the file states he wrote before embarking on more expletive-laced insults. “We want you so bad we can f***ing taste it.”
“Did you f****** really think you were going to disenfranchise 75 million Americans and not die? Lol,” Muller said in another message in an apparent reference to the roughly 75 million votes Trump received in the 2020 election.
Muller also accused the agent of covering up child pornography on the laptop, as well as alleging the first son sexually assaulted a member of his family. Biden has not been charged with any sex-related crimes.

The Justice Department said the charge against Muller could be punishable by up to 10 years in prison if he is found guilty.
The first son’s laptop was investigated by the FBI, and its contents became public after a New York Post story about it was published in October 2020. The laptop was used as evidence in the federal gun case against Biden that resulted in three guilty convictions earlier this week.
