Former President Barack Obama released his annual list of his favorite books, movies, and music, with his wife’s new novel at the top.
The former president released the list on Friday, continuing a tradition of releasing a list in December of his favorite books, movies, and songs released over the past year. Former first lady Michelle Obama’s new book, The Light We Carry, topped the list, with the former president jokingly admitting that he is “a bit biased on this one.”
“I always look forward to sharing my lists of favorite books, movies, and music with all of you,” Barack Obama wrote on social media. “First up, here are some of the books I read and enjoyed this year. Let me know which books I should check out in 2023.”
