“Texas will fully utilize its constitutional authority to deal with the crisis you have caused,” Abbott wrote in a letter to President Joe Biden. “Texas will see you in court, Mr. President.”

The red state’s defiance comes days after the Justice Department sent Texas a letter Thursday notifying Abbott that it would sue the state for violating federal law.
