Hilaria Baldwin gave an update on the aftermath of her husband, Alec, shooting and killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust.
A clip from an interview Hilaria Baldwin gave to Extra was shared on Friday, showing the 38-year-old visibly emotional about the shooting over a year later. Baldwin held back tears as she was asked how the family was doing recently.
“We’re not OK. We can’t be OK. No one’s OK,” Baldwin said. “It was and is a tragedy that nobody could ever have imagined.”
ALEC BALDWIN FILES CROSS-COMPLAINT AGAINST FELLOW RUST CREW MEMBERS IN SUIT AGAINST HIM
The full interview will air on Monday, and it comes nearly a month after Alec Baldwin filed a cross complaint in script supervisor Mamie Mitchell’s lawsuit. In the suit, Mitchell accuses Baldwin of “recklessly” firing the weapon meant as a prop in a scene for the film Rust. Assistant Director David Halls, who handed the gun to Baldwin, and armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed are also both named in the suit, which alleges assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. Baldwin has filed his complaint against Halls, Gutierrez Reed, prop supplier Seth Kenney, and prop master Sarah Zachry.
