The film distributor and studio behind Sound of Freedom announced that it will release a new faith-based film and TV show this year titled Homestead.
Angel Studios’s hybrid concept will be based on the bestselling book series Black Autumn by Jeff Kirkham and Jason Ross. Homestead will detail two families in post-apocalyptic times who overcome ideological differences and resource conflicts to realize unity amid unexpected divine plans.

“I’m excited to see a hope-filled, family apocalypse story hit the screens — because isn’t God always doing something incredible, even during tough times?” Angel Studios’s Chief Content Officer Jeffrey Harmon told the Washington Examiner. “Homestead goes on a wild ride through the crash of civilization, only to reveal that family, community, and love are the ultimate survival advantage. I can’t wait to watch the movie and the TV show.”
