Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) said Devon Archer’s testimony makes the case that Hunter Biden’s plea deal was “designed to cover up the corruption surrounding Joe Biden and his family.”
Archer testified before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s staff on Monday that the Biden family, specifically then-Vice President Joe Biden, was key to Burisma staying afloat. During his testimony, Archer noted that President Joe Biden once attended dinners with the younger Biden’s business partners as well as spoke to them over the phone.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT FORMER HUNTER BIDEN BUSINESS PARTNER DEVON ARCHER
“That plea deal was designed to cover up the corruption surrounding Joe Biden and his family,” Donalds told The Ingraham Angle. “Especially when you look at the facts that the [Foreign Agents Registration Act] violations were buried into this gun charge. And now what Devon Archer has come forward and said, he confirms the fact that not only was Hunter Biden operating as an unregistered foreign agent but that his daddy Joe Biden was always on call.”
“This stinks to high heaven. It is influence peddling. It is public corruption,” he added.
Donalds blasted Democrats for going after former President Donald Trump when Republicans “have way more [on Biden] than they wish they had on Donald Trump, and they’re going after him using the Department of Justice, which is corrupt, in my view.”

As additional charges and indictments against Trump are expected, Donalds said they will only support public opinion regarding “two-tiered justice.”
“The American people are already there,” Donalds said. “They see this for what it is. This is the Biden administration and his hit men — Merrick Garland and Jack Smith — going after their political rival, and they don’t like it because it stinks of two-tiered justice. This is un-American, in my view. We don’t do this in our country. This happens in third-world countries. It’s wrong for our country.”
