Jill Biden will stay in the Washington area to lay a wreath at the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial. After the two planes hit the New York City towers, the third of what would be four planes involved in the attacks hit the Pentagon later in the same morning.
The president visited all three crash sites to commemorate 9/11’s 20th anniversary in 2021 and spoke at the Pentagon last year.
