“This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller,” the Bills said in a statement. “We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.”

Dallas police said they responded to a dispute on Wednesday morning, where Miller allegedly had a verbal fight with the pregnant woman and allegedly assaulted her.

The woman, who has not been named, was treated for minor injuries but was not hospitalized, police said. Unnamed sources told Sports Illustrated that the woman was Miller’s long-term girlfriend. He was arrested on charges of a third-degree felony, which carries a minimum of two years in prison and a maximum sentence of 10 years if found guilty.

In 2021, the NFL star was investigated by authorities in Colorado, but he did not face any criminal charges after the Parker Police Department could not find evidence “to support a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt.”

The star linebacker is perceived as a potential future Hall of Famer, and he has won two Super Bowls with two different teams: the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Rams. He was also named MVP of Super Bowl 50.
