Select Chick-fil-A locations are using drones to test a new delivery service that could fly chicken sandwiches to customers.

The system’s testing will only be available for a limited time at various locations, including one in Brandon, Florida, according to a report.

Brandon’s Chick-fil-A is offering the service at no cost to customers.


“Drone delivery is now here at Chick-fil-A,” according to a statement from the location, which noted that the service’s delivery has a limited range. “For a limited time, order Chick-fil-A Delivery and enjoy a $0 delivery fee. The current delivery hours are Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., subject to availability.”

“When placing your order on the Chick-fil-A app, select ‘Chick-fil-A Delivery’ to ensure your order will be delivered by Drone,” the statement said.

Accompanying the statement was a video showing the process in action.
