Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin visited his team at its facility Saturday for the first time since his mid-game cardiac arrest.
Hamlin was discharged from a Buffalo hospital Wednesday after he “completed a series of tests and evaluations,” per the doctor who treated him. He was initially in critical condition when he was brought to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center from the game against the Cincinnati Bengals and later transferred to Kaleida Health.
Bills linebacker Matt Milano shared a photo of Hamlin to his Instagram story Friday as proof that the safety had stopped by to shake hands with his teammates. Hamlin seemed to be in good spirits from the photo, as he was smiling.

On Jan. 2, Hamlin collapsed on the field after standing up from a tackle against a Bengals player, prompting officials to halt and then ultimately end the game. Personnel managed to restart his heart on the field. His uncle would go on to report that his heart stopped again while receiving treatment at the hospital.
Hamlin is in his second NFL season.
