The daughter of a recent homicide victim in Georgia has been revealed to have a criminal history of her own. The investigation into who killed Debbie Collier, 59, has yet to name a suspect.

Collier was reported missing on Sept. 10 by her husband Steven Collier and daughter Amanda Bearden. Her daughter had received a suspicious text that read, “They are not going to let me go love you there is a key to the house in the blue flowerpot by the door,” along with a $2,385 Venmo payment.

Habersham County Sheriff’s Office found Debbie Collier dead a quarter-mile off a rural highway where her rental car, a Chrysler Pacifica, was. Collier was naked, burned, and at the bottom of a hill in the woods off the highway.

Bearden, 36, has a criminal history, according to Fox News, that includes obstruction, battery, and criminal trespassing going back to 2008. She completed a six-month pretrial intervention program that dismissed her first charge of obstruction, which came in light of a domestic call when Bearden was seen with bruises and scratches from her then-boyfriend. Police ultimately arrested the boyfriend despite Bearden allegedly obstructing the investigation.

Most recently, Bearden was charged with falsely reporting a crime, accusing her current boyfriend Andrew Tyler Giegerich of burglary, but both the charge against Bearden and the burglary charge against Giegerich were dropped.

However, Giegerich was charged with battery, property damage, and violating a protective order Bearden had against him at the time. Her order came after Giegerich was charged with domestic battery and disorderly conduct charges against her in 2020. He alleged that Bearden was on drugs at the time but ultimately pleaded guilty, which resulted in another sentence of probation.

Giegerich would go on to violate probation and face more new domestic charges against Bearden. He most recently violated his probation in August, which resulted in a six-day jail sentence that ended Friday, according to photographs taken by Fox News that show him reunited with Bearden.
