Washington, D.C., police are investigating a home invasion in the southeast area of D.C.
The Metropolitan Police Department told the Washington Examiner that at 6:11 a.m., police responded to a call in the 1700 block of Bay Street, SE, for reports of a burglary.

Police learned that four armed suspects arrived at their home in tactical gear with flashlights and entered through the front door, using a crowbar to force it open, per a public incident report. Three were armed with guns and one had a crowbar.
The suspects had told the victims that they were the FBI and used force to take multiple property items, including two red iPhone 11s, a blue Rolex watch, two black safes, a silver 2017 Audi Q3, and $3,300 in cash.
The suspects fled the scene in the silver Audi with unknown tags and have not been identified. Police are continuing to actively investigate the situation, MPD said.
Ronald R’Mani McIntyre, David Ramone McIntyre, Deangelo Cornelius Burke, Kayla Ryland, and Kennidee Scarboro were listed as the five victims on the report. Both McIntyre and Burke have the Bay Street location listed as their home address. Two of the five were able to flee the scene and call police.

NBC Washington’s Mark Segraves originally reported that the four suspects had tied up the five people and held them at gunpoint, but police did not specify if this was accurate.
