Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) attacked President Joe Biden on Monday for not acknowledging Hunter Biden’s 4-year-old daughter as his seventh grandchild.

DeSantis remarked on Joe Biden’s refusal to recognize the child Hunter Biden had with an Arkansas woman named Lunden Roberts, calling on the president to spend time with the child or “at least acknowledge she exists.”

“You’re talking about all of our children; I have something to say to [Joe Biden],” DeSantis said. “Why don’t you focus on spending more time with your granddaughter in Arkansas, or at least acknowledge she exists, before you worry about our children?”

DeSantis then directed his attention to a group of protesters who were heckling him, displaying an LGBT pride flag.

“And they shouldn’t be worrying about our children either,” DeSantis continued, pointing to the protesters. “We don’t want you indoctrinating our children. Leave our kids alone!”

The remarks drew cheers from the crowd.

The president has largely avoided the subject of his seventh grandchild, Navy Joan Roberts, whom he failed to acknowledge.

When asked during a press briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters she didn’t “have anything to share from here” about Joe Biden’s seventh grandchild.

Hunter Biden settled the child support case filed against him by Roberts in June. Hunter Biden’s daughter was born in Arkansas in August 2018, conceived while he was in a relationship with Hallie Biden, the widow of his deceased brother, Beau Biden.
