Former President Donald Trump accused immigrants of “poisoning the blood” of the United States again Saturday during a rally in New Hampshire.

As the 2024 front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, Trump was in Durham rallying support for his campaign with the state’s primary 38 days away. Trump attacked President Joe Biden for the over 10 million immigrants who reportedly have entered the country illegally since he took office. It is the most recorded in that amount of time of any administration.

TRUMP INFLAMES WORRIES WITH CALLS FOR REVENGE AND ‘RETRIBUTION,’ BUT THERE ARE LIMITS

“We got a lot of work to do, you know, when they let — I think the real number’s 15, 16 million people into our country — when they do that, we get a lot of work to do,” Trump said. “They’re, poisoning the blood of our country. That’s what they’ve done. They’ve poisoned mental institutions and prisons all over the world. Not just in South America, not just the three or four countries that we think about, but all over the world they’re coming into our country. From Africa, from Asia, all over the world, they’re pouring into our country. Nobody’s even looking at them, they just come in.”

The crowd, which had been previously cheering for Trump throughout his speech, remained mostly quiet through his tirade. He went on to warn that crime and terrorism will be “tremendous” as a result of the influx of immigrants. What sounded like a single voice shouted out, “Build the wall,” a previous campaign slogan of Trump’s.

Next, Trump shifted to the border wall that he claimed was three weeks away from being finished and included anti-climb bars. He pointed the finger at the Biden administration again.

“I had everything and you know what they did?” Trump said. “They didn’t want it to go up. They sold it for five cents on the dollar. Can you believe it? All of that stuff. It’s a very sad thing.”

The New Hampshire primary is the first in the nation, following the caucuses in Iowa on Jan. 15, 2024. Trump has maintained the lead there, with Nikki Haley in a solid second place, according to RealClearPolitics.

Trump has kept a massive lead in the polls for the GOP presidential nomination despite the various indictments against him, which include allegedly mishandling classified documents and subverting the 2020 presidential election. He has pleaded not guilty to all 91 felony charges against him.
