First lady Jill Biden has tested negative for COVID-19 after isolating for five days due to a positive diagnosis, according to the White House.
Jill Biden, who tested positive for COVID-19 while in South Carolina, will join President Joe Biden in Delaware after receiving two negative tests, per a statement from her office.

The first lady received a positive diagnosis earlier this week during routine testing. Jill Biden was experiencing “cold-like symptoms” and had been prescribed a course of Paxlovid, according to Elizabeth Alexander, the first lady’s communications director.
The Bidens had been in South Carolina at the time for a multi-day vacation. Close contacts of the first lady were notified, as she quarantined at a private residence in South Carolina.

Joe Biden has already had COVID-19 and even retested positive just days after leaving quarantine in a so-called “rebound” infection last month.
