“It’s pretty debilitating to have to go through all that, but as long as everything stays hunky-dory, then we’ll look at something good in the future,” he said.

Keith, 61, revealed his diagnosis in June, sharing that he was undergoing treatment.

“So far, so good. I need time to breathe, recover and relax,” the “Red Solo Cup” singer said at the time, adding, “I am looking forward to spending this time with my family.”

While he stepped away from the spotlight for treatment, the singer has been leaving subtle hints that a return is in the near future. He has ventured out more, including surprising fans at a steakhouse in Lexington, Kentucky, last month, according to reports.

The “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” singer also posted a photo on his social media account with a young cancer patient, asking for donations to his Toby Keith Foundation during last month’s Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to giving back.

“Thumbs up if you’re celebrating #GivingTuesday by donating to the @tk_foundation!” he posted.
