Hunter Biden arrived at court on Thursday morning to sit for a deposition regarding the defamation lawsuit filed by the owner of the computer repair shop where he dropped off his laptop.

Biden is being sued by John Paul Mac Isaac, who filed his lawsuit in 2019 after Biden dropped off his laptop at the computer store in Delaware and failed to retrieve it once repairs were completed.

The laptop is the subject of extreme scrutiny and the target of several congressional Republican investigations. An October 2020 report from the New York Post detailed that the contents of the laptop were being censored by major social media platforms and being presented as Russian disinformation.

The deposition comes more than a week after it was announced that Biden would enter a plea deal related to two charges regarding failure to pay federal income tax.
