The House Oversight Committee will be hearing from two whistleblowers on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, both of whom are IRS agents who allege misconduct in the investigation into President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.


The House Oversight Committee will be hearing from two whistleblowers on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, both of whom are IRS agents who allege misconduct in the investigation into President Joe Biden‘s son, Hunter Biden.

Gary Shapley and “Whistleblower X,” whose name will be revealed at the hearing, will present testimony about how the Hunter Biden investigation was mishandled by the Department of Justice and IRS, among others.

Shapley, who has been detailing his allegations for more than a month, will testify that “the Hunter Biden tax investigation was very different from any other case in my 14 years at the IRS,” alleging a “two-track justice system depending on who you are and who you’re connected to.”

Whistleblower X, whose identity will be revealed at the hearing, will testify he has “witnessed the corrosion of ethical standards and the abuse of power that threaten our nation.”

The hearing comes almost a month after it was announced Hunter Biden would enter a plea deal related to two charges regarding failure to pay federal income tax.

The House Oversight Committee hearing with the two whistleblowers is expected to begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
