EXCLUSIVE — Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley will release a new video this weekend that highlights her continued support for Israel as its war with the terrorist organization Hamas continues.
The new video, which will play ahead of Haley’s speech at the Republican Jewish Coalition Annual Leadership Summit, focused on her history of standing up for Israel, including her use of a veto during a session of the United Nations over the status of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Haley served as the ambassador to the United Nations during former President Donald Trump’s administration.

“As UN ambassador, [Haley] declared ‘a new day for Israel at the United Nations’ and vowed that ‘the days of Israel bashing are over,'” Haley’s presidential campaign said in a news release obtained exclusively by the Washington Examiner. “When America moved its embassy to Jerusalem, Haley proudly issued the first American veto in six years at the UN Security Council, defending the United States’ sovereign right to put our embassy wherever we choose.”
The video, which has been reviewed by the Washington Examiner, includes Haley’s call on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “finish” Hamas in the wake of its Oct. 7 attack on Israel.
During her time in Trump’s administration, Haley introduced a resolution to the U.N. that condemned Hamas, which was supported by the majority of the intergovernmental organization’s General Assembly. She also led the charge to withdraw the U.S. from the U.N. Human Rights Council, which has been critical of Israel.
Haley has vowed to use the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism, which includes “denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination,” and to remove a college or university’s tax-exempt status if it fails to combat antisemitism, if she is elected president.
