Comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan spent a segment on his recent podcast discussing the effects of the reporting on Hunter Biden being suppressed.

Rogan lamented that the reporting surrounding the younger Biden’s laptop had been suppressed online during the same year his father, Joe Biden, was running for president against then-incumbent President Donald Trump. The podcast host discussed the topic with fellow comedian and podcaster Dave Smith in an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience released Thursday.

“There’s no better evidence than the — was it 51 intelligence officials that signed off on the fact that the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation?” Rogan said.

“Yes, I believe including four former heads of the CIA,” Smith replied, referring to former CIA directors and acting directors John Brennan, Leon Panetta, Gen. Michael Hayden, John McLaughlin, and Michael Morell. “It’s really something cause there’s no, like, demand for accountability for those people. Like, hey, explain yourself, you know. Like, how did you sign off on this blatant election interference, you know?”

It would later be revealed that twelve of those who signed the letter in 2020 contributed to Joe Biden’s campaign. Between them all, the total donated was $40,000. Eleven of the signers would go on to visit the White House a combined 24 times.

“They know this whole thing is illegitimate. Like, you stole it, and they really did. They really did,” Smith went on to say. “I mean, they suppressed the October bombshell that would have very likely tipped the election in Trump’s favor.”

Hunter Biden was set to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and enter into a pretrial diversion agreement to avoid a felony gun charge following a nearly five-year federal investigation, but questions from a judge in July about what she called “unusual” provisions of the deal resulted in it unraveling. Now, Hunter Biden may be headed for trial depending on how special counsel David Weiss proceeds with prosecuting him.
