Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) lamented that an otherwise “obvious” investigation into President Joe Biden and his family has stalled due to Democrats working with a biased and liberal media.
Johnson appeared on Sunday Morning Futures to chronicle the many hiccups that have befallen investigations into the Biden family. According to the senator, the allegations have been “obvious” from the beginning.

“Of course, the other scandal here is the corrupt and complicit media that covers up everything, you know, as it relates to corruption of Democrats and the Bidens,” Johnson said, referencing leftist media organizations. “Again, this is massive corruption. This is massive coordination. We had Democrat senators who were obstructing our investigation, claiming that Senator Grassley and I were soliciting and disseminating Russian disinformation.”
Johnson went on to speculate that a third-party might do a better job.
“This didn’t just happen. This had to be coordinated. This needs to be fully investigated. We need something like a church commission to get to the bottom of this, but, again, the media is not going to look into this,” Johnson said. “If we had an unbiased media, you wouldn’t have this corruption in federal agencies, but we have a highly partisan media, and it’s going to be a real problem getting to the bottom of all of this.”
According to Johnson, an accountant, it would have been clear to find the $40,000 Biden received from his brother James’s wife shortly after a Chinese company sent money to the Biden family but was instead uncovered by the House Oversight Committee.

The White House has claimed the committee chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) had the documents necessary to prove the money was a loan.
In response, Comer asked the White House to provide proof that Biden was owed money from his brother James.
