Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said to expect appropriations legislation coming from the House next week that will employ Congress’s “power of the purse” and seek to withhold government funding of the FBI amid allegations of corruption within the federal agency.
“We will use the appropriations process,” Jordan told The Ingraham Angle. “The first appropriations bill is going to pass next week out of the House, and then we have several others. We have to use the power of the purse.”

“And, frankly, what we also have to do — [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] reauthorization is up this year,” Jordan added. “We have to fundamentally change FISA. Ge the FBI out that program altogether. We’re sick of the abuse that takes place there.”
Jordan stressed the importance of the 2024 elections, noting the necessity of a new president “who says we will no longer have a Justice Department that targets ‘We the People,’ that targets the American citizen. That is the only thing that’s going to fix it.”
The Ohio Republican also called for the FBI to make public the FD-1023 form that allegedly details a “criminal bribery scheme” involving President Joe Biden and newly revealed “foreign national” Mykola Zlochevsky, the Ukrainian owner of Burisma.
He said the FBI form “needs to be made public so the whole country gets to see it,” especially amid the indictment of former President Donald Trump.
“When you’ve got three people who got classified document concerns and supposedly mishandled — Clinton, Biden, and President Trump — and only one gets indicted,” Jordan noted. “How is that justice? How is that equal application of the law? Americans have common sense. They see this double standard that exists for Republicans and conservatives and for President Trump.”

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) also blasted Biden over the alleged “criminal bribery scheme” and asked if he and his family had paid their “fair share” in taxes.
“Joe Biden likes to say that the rich need to pay their fair share,” Donalds said while discussing the alleged foreign payments of the “bribery scheme.” “’Hey, Joe, did you pay your taxes on that $5 million?’ I don’t think you did.”
