Vice President Kamala Harris has been roasted on social media for posting her Christmas photo alongside her husband, second gentleman Doug Emhoff, while cooking in their kitchen on a gas stove.
This photo comes as the Biden Consumer Product Safety Commission earlier this year considered banning gas stoves but the backlash forced them to backtrack their plans.

The White House dismissed the plan amid the public backlash. The vice president continues to be mocked for her cooking on one despite the administration’s reversal of plans.
“Merry Christmas to all. May your day be filled with love, family, and good food,” she said on social media.
Harris added, “P.S. We are making Christmas beef Wellington.”
Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) responded to her post on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing, “Is that another gas stove?”
Harris also faced criticism after posting a Thanksgiving photo last month with a gas stove in the background.
“From our family to yours, happy Thanksgiving,” she wrote with a photo of Emhoff and herself standing beside a gas stove.

The vice president’s Christmas post managed to partially crop out the gas stove, but eagle-eyed social media users spotted it.
In addition, she received scrutiny for suggesting the photo had been taken on Christmas when the clock in the kitchen said “Sunday.”
