A mother and her three children were killed in a shooting Tuesday night in Lake Wales, Florida, police said.
The Lake Wales Police Department is searching for 38-year-old Al Stenson, of Lake Wales. Officers said they believe Stenson lived at the apartment and could be injured. His relation to the victims was not released, per WTSP.

Police said officers arrived just before 9 p.m. at an apartment complex due to a medical emergency. Once they got there, they found a woman, her two adult children, and a younger child dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
The investigation is only in its beginning stages, and officers have not identified any suspects.

The shooting is one of many in recent months in the United States that have renewed calls from gun control advocates for reform.
