Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is expected to be one of the most vulnerable Republicans in the 2024 elections, and a new poll is not a good sign for her campaign.

Boebert is trailing her Democratic challenger, Adam Frisch, by 2 percentage points in a poll from Democratic polling firm Keating Research released on Tuesday.

The survey of 801 likely voters in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District shows Frisch leading Boebert 50%-48%.

The poll also shows Boebert with a negative 11 net favorability rating, 42%-53%, while Frisch has a plus 8 net favorability rating, 34%-26%. Boebert has a lower net approval rating than former President Donald Trump, who has a negative 8 net favorability rating, 45%-53%.

Frisch celebrated the poll by saying it is a reflection that voters are “tired of Boebert’s extremism” in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Boebert’s campaign manager Drew Sexton dismissed the poll to Newsweek, saying Frisch’s campaign should worry about the Democratic primary before worrying about a general election matchup against Boebert.

“For the poll to have any relevance Aspen Adam needs to secure the Democrat nomination, which he only won by a couple hundred votes last time,” Sexton told the outlet. “This primary he’ll have to explain whether he’s lying to liberals or lying to conservatives about his policies. So far, Adam has proven he’s lying to both.”
