LeBron James was handed his first loss as a captain at an NBA All-Star Game that saw the Los Angeles Lakers star leave the game with an injury.
James left the All-Star Game at halftime on Sunday with a right-hand contusion after attempting to block a layup attempt from Raptors forward Pascal Siakam, the league announced.
Team LeBron lost to Team Giannis, led by Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, by a final score of 184-175.
Celtics star Jayson Tatum scored 55 points in the game, breaking the record previously set in 2017 by Anthony Davis.

Tatum was named the All-Star Game’s MVP.
James, who notched 13 points, four assists, and one rebound on Sunday, was honored as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer during the halftime of the All-Star Game.
